MINI wanted to make it easier for their potential new customers to test drive a new MINI.
Normally people had to go to a dealership, fill in a number of forms and have a copy of their driving license made.I designed a fully interactive MVP and conducted user research among the target audience of MINI, which ultimately resulted in a prototype of an app in which students drive a MINI in London, with a sign saying “Hail me to drive me”. You could get in immediately, enter your details on an iPad on the dashboard, take a photo of your driver’s license and place your signature digitally.
After that, the test drive could start immediately, which saved a lot of time and annoyance for both the customer and the end user.
